Above, distant leaves imaged using a camcorder and achromat refractor and reveals typical purple fringing symptoms of chromatic aberration.

Below the Semi-APO filter is used with the eyepiece. The purplish chromatic abberation effects is almost completely absent while overall contrast is improved.
